Itinerary Survivor Moderate

Day 1: Visit of Tikal National Park...

Package include Tikal Guatemala, 5:00 AM. Our Survivor Moderate package starts with transportation from your hotel to the National Airport, where you will be taking 6:30 AM flight to Flores in the North of Guatemala.
Upon arrival in Flores, we will transfer to the Tikal National Park in the heart of the Guatemalan jungle. On the way our guide will provide passengers with cultural information about the area and an introduction about the Mayan Ruins of Tikal. In this remote region, one of the greatest civilizations of all times constructed a city that lived during centuries. The ruins of Tikal include more than 3,000 structures extending over six square miles and including palaces, temples, ceremonial platforms, ball courts, terraces, plazas, avenues and steam baths.
This tour takes about 4 - 5 hours and afterwards, we will take you to the hotel that you have selected. L

Day 2: Aguateca

7:00 AM. Today we will transfer you to Sayaxche where you will take a boat ride to by the Petexbatun Lagoon. From there, we will hike in the jungle to the Mayan ruins of Aguateca. These ruins are impressive, especially since they are the best preserved and restored of the Mayan sites in Guatemala. Aguateca also has many wonderful trails and a geological fault that serves as a natural defense of the area.
After the tour, we will transfer you back to your selected hotel.B, L

Day 3: Flores – Caves of Aktun Kan – Ixpanpajul Park – Flores...

Package include Ixpanpajul Guatemala, Today you have some time to explore Flores on your own in the morning. We meet for lunch at the hotel and then take to visit the caves of Aktun Kan, an ancient ritual site of the Mayans. From Aktun Kan we will walk about 2 hours through rainforest. Will walk over suspension bridges to see the forest as the birds see it! After arriving at the viewpoint we’ll rest for half an hour and then continue by bicycle, horseback or tractor (your choice) to a plantation of fruit trees. In the early evening we will visit the forest by night to see the nocturnal fauna. Then return to your hotel Flores. B, L

Day 4: Flores – Guatemala City...

After breakfast we will take you back to the airport of Flores for a short flight back to Guatemala City. B
